Bosch washing machines

Wonder if anyone who has purchased one from John Leiws could help regarding the warranty.

They say its a 2yr warranty but are you required to register or contact Bosch to get this or is it just a JL thing?

go in to your local JL and ask them to help - i do this with my old 28" philips crt and they call the guys out - its their own repair centre that deal with them

I didn't know about my 2 year warranty with Bosch until I called the repair man out in the 11th month for something minor - think it was a loose door catch. (Called Bosch direct.) He told me that it had a 2 year guarantee on it and that I ought to call them to get a repair man back out before the time was up - on any pretext - just so I could get it checked over.
I bought it from Currys one day and registered it with Bosch the next.
Have had it 3 years now and been very pleased with the performance.

Yep it's a Bosch thing (even if you don't register) as long as you have the proof of purchase date, ie the receipt! Used this 1 yr 11 months in!
