    I managed to find the email address of one of the senior management team, a chap called Scot Demaret, sent him an email outlining the story, and telling him how unimpressed I was with his companys greed, and that as they were looking for repeat business, considering I rent cars for 4 months of the year, and would stear colleagues away from his company, they had lost out through theirshort sightedness.
    Had a reply within hours:
    Hi Stephen,
    I am also unimpressed with this, and will investigate it fully on Monday for you. I will do everything I can to make sure that a full refund is given.
    We are not the sort of company who operates upon greed. Our suppliers have to adhere to strict terms and conditions.
    I will contact you on Monday, do you have a telephone number that I may reach you on if necessary ?
