That's funny I never knew feeding a dog raw food meant it never poo'd? Or do you just mind steping it so much if it's had a raw diet? What about toddlers they stumble often and to stumble into poo that unresponsable owner hasn't picked up is dreadfull, how would it be ok for them to trip and land in a raw fed dog's excrement?

What am I missing that makes this not sound extremely stupid?

You would still need to pick up with a toddler around as there are still bacteria in the poop - but the dog should poop less frequently, they will be smaller, dryer and not smelly. :D As the dog can digest and use all of the nutrients that go in, what comes out is not much more than ground bone! Are you old enough to remember dry white-ish little dog poo in the street when you were a kid? It comes out like that instead of a Mr. Whippy. :j

Brilliant!!! I do remember those white dog poos and it hadnt occured to me that you see so few of them these days - instead you get the lovely chocolate mousse temptations all along the pavement on the school run - its like an olympic slalom course when you have 3 kids and a buggy!!!

Whatever their poo is like there is no excuse for any dog owner to not pick up after their dog.

Leave it all over their garden sure that's up to them but irrelevant of content it's still dog poo and when you walk your dog and it poo's you pick it up.

I didn't say I don't pick it up. There is just not that much of it and in the summer especially it breaks down and dissappears quickly but i haven't children who run about in the garden. I certainly pick it up in the street.

Hang on a minute, I was responding to a certain post. Where did I say I leave it for everyone to walk in? Do not call me irresponsible, I am anything but. I pick up after my pup and foster dogs. Please go to the post I was refering to and you will see what I meant. I have just looked back and can see why you thought I meant you don't have to pick dog poo if they are fed on raw food but I didn't explain properly.

I wondered what had happened to that !!!

Im in Northern Ireland - any retired greyhound folk there?

Er yep, they are imported here because there are so many over there. You may find some have an ear missing though - the easiest method for their tatttoo identity to be removed:mad:

Kimberley - please don't waste any time on jetta_wales. She is an attention-seeking nutcase who spends all her time trying to get other people into trouble - much like a dysfunctional child really.

Seriously - ignore her. Trying to figure her out will drive you nuts! She recently drove someone on this forum to suicide and still managed to make out that SHE was the victim!
