Capital one are still taking PPI money out of my account - even after they've settled and supposed to have cancelled it.

Wrote an email - and asked to cancel it properly and for my £1.04 back.......

    Hi everyone

Felt like I managed quite a few small things yesterday so hoping for another productive day today.

    My list looks like this:

    - not spend hours on my laptop tonight and instead tidy round the flat:p
    - do the dishes as soon as I get in so the water is still hot
    - have a quick shower and not a bath so the water doesn't have to go on again
    - phone old electricity Co. to see how they calculated my final bill and confirm if I really owe them £9.80. Grr. Thought I had £100 credit!
    - check for surveys (and mystery shops, although I've never actually completed one of these - might visit the mystery shopping thread for some inspiration/motivation)
    - leftovers for lunch; salmon we got for free for tea :D
    - post old mobile for piggypoints & print packing slip at work
    - check Quidco - it's been a while. tick tock.
    - decide whether I need to take my boots to the cobblers or whether I can pack them away for this winter and get them fixed later in the year...
    - going to start a list of all the odd jobs that need doing around the flat and devise some sort of plan - just so I'm not going round buying what I think I need and probably spending more. Will hopefully also kickstart my spring clean this weekend!

Hope everyone is having a good day!

    xx

Ta for reminding me about the electric - sorry to hear you owe them.

Just inputed my electric for when my lodger had her visitor (OMG!!!!) we doubled our units to 56 a day....................thank goodness it was only 6 days!!! The room is cold - I guess we're just use to it (ie use to just piling on the clothes and not the heater!!!!)

Eating old bread - you know hte kind NOT QUITE mouldy which makes OK toast and opened a frozen pack of 10p reduced pate - oh this is the high life :)

another egg today - woo hoo to my clever laying an egg a day chookie :)

Aaahh...have lost motivation and feel fed up! :(
Have had a lovely few hours with my friend but have come home, house is still a mess (why didn't the cleaning fairies visit?!), have a list of things to do longer than my arm and slimming world tonight - sure I've overindulged!

And to top it off, phoned 0% c/c - application was declined  It would have really helped to balance transfer as my interest % is sickningly high! :(

Maybe I'm having post birthday blues? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Right - moan over, I WILL get moving!

No spend day, today, but that will all change, as promised DS2 and DS3 takeaway tea tonight, as they been good.
Will be cooking a shepherd's pie using frozen mince casserole saved as leftovers from a few weeks ago. This been defrosting in the fridge, when DS1 and DH come home later. Just got to boil up some spuds for the mashed topping. :)
    keep smiling,
