Help please where do I stand!!!!

Fuel injection pump costing about £1200 for a repair at the local garage and thats a good price looking online. The mechanic reckons it would have been more than likely that the seller would have known about the problem. More than the cost of the car making it a write off!

Thanks for your help I dont think ebay will help us too much, will wait and see what consumer direct say about this and if still no luck I will have to pay the seller a visit which neither of us are going to enjoy very much!

consumer direct should tell you the same, ask the garage if there is anyway they can prove when the fault occurred if not it is indeed a write off. Its worth telling the seller as some sellers will offer partial refunds. Just remember. the seller may well of had no idea so dont be rude.
