Hi all,
We are desperate to sell a property we own to free up money to renovate a house we have recently purchased. It has been on the market for several months but so far no interest.
We were considering using one of the cash for houses firms and was wondering if anybody has had any experience with them and are they to be trusted.
Many thanks in advance !

This gets asked regularly. They exist by making money from people like you. Their initial offer is low, but tempts you in. Then it drops, and you end up selling for a significant mark-down.
If the property isn't selling, it is over-priced. Drop the price and/or change your agent, but sell in the usual way.0 -
Expect 70% at best from the quick buy people.
You might as well drop the price 10% and keep the other 20%.0
