I bought a 2nd hand car a few months back - it's been in the garage 3 times now with various faults - one of them being a water leak and dispite getting fixed there's still a bit of a smell.
I was going to reject the car under sale of goods act but the garage have tld me they will replace the vehicle not give a refund - I'm so annoyed with the garage I just want my money back - if I threaten do you think I'll be ok r do I have to be prepared to go to small claims court?
It's only 6.5k and some of thats on finance anyway...
Thanks

It's too late to 'reject' the goods under the SOGA, so it's their choice of a refund, replacement or repair.
However, I think they have to replace goods like for like (unless you agree otherwise), so they've have to give you the same make and model of car, in the same (or better) condition. Is that what they're offering0
