Parcelbee we have been stung!!!

Now that I know Parcelbee has disappeared off of the face of the earth owing DHL (and whoever else) and of course me money im wondering how I go about getting my money back.Paypal say I have no claim with them as they only cover items not services (nice of them telling me after the event) and DHL say its nothing to do with them.
Trading standards say because it was a “limited” company there is more chance of getting the money back and I need to contact “companies’ house” .One way or another I want to make sure he/they do not get away with this as he is going to lay low for a while and start again, I wonder if he has done this before as some posters have said?
The company head office is based in Southend so if all else fails a group of us that he has conned could always get a mini bus to the seaside and go and see if we could ask him/them for our hard earned money back!
The parcels I send are pretty big and heavy and the likes of parcel2go etc are just to expensive so Parcelbee was a godsend but as they say when something looks too good too be true is usually is !!
One note, Paypal said that if they get a large amount of complaints about parcelbee they maybe able to help (but I wont hold my breath) so anyone else out there who has lost money over Parcelbee it may be worth just letting paypal know?

I've also been ripped off by Parcelbee. I ordered on Friday for a collection yesterday but the courier did not turn up. Parcelbee are not responding to emails and DHL say they have no note of any collection at my address.
If you paid by credit card, even though it was through Paypal, you can ask your bank to perform a Chargeback to recover the money. I've done it before and was successful in recovering my money. Don't waste your time trying to recover it through Paypal, they'll just tell you that you're not covered because it wasn't a purchase of a physical item.
Have a read HERE for more information.0 -
Does anyone have access to the voters roll who could check to see who resides at Parcelbee's registered address at 87 Shakespeare Drive, Westcliff-on-sea, Essex, SS0 9AA? I'd like to put a name to the chancer who has scammed us.0

Based on what you've said above, I've just raised a Paypal dispute.0 -
looked up their website:
Registrant type:
UK Individual
Registrant's address:
The registrant is a non-trading individual who has opted to have their
address omitted from the WHOIS service.
I wonder why they did not want to know their address?............... Have you ever wondered what

Trading standards have misinformed you , you do not have more chance of getting your money if they are a ltd company . If the company has no assetts you will get nothing . And as it is a ltd company you cannot persue the directorVuja De - the feeling you'll be here later0 -
bloody hell! Just noticed this thread and can be added to the unfortunate list of people who have given parcelbee money and not received the service. Drat!0

I take back everything I said about Paypal. I opened a dispute with them to recover my money from Parcelbee which I later escalated to a claim. I wasn't expecting Paypal to find in my favour and I only done so in order that I could tell them I tried to resolve it through them before being forced to initiate a chargeback through my credit card company.
Well, today I received an email from Paypal advising that they have found in my favour and recovered my money from Parcelbee's account. My money has now been refunded.
Has anyone else been successful?0 -
