My daughter has a Renault Megane with alloy wheels.
It has come to light that two of her wheels are slightly damaged, one is worse than the other.
New tyres were fitted at the weekend.
trying to find cheapest source of replacement wheels.
The ones on are from Team Dynamique, 17", 4 bolt.
All help appreciated.:o

definately best having a look on ebay.
Failing that there is a company called renault specialists in accrington who funnily enough specialise in breaking renaults!Cover me in honey and fling me to the hermaphrodites!0 -
When you say slightly damaged what do you mean? If its only slight damage it might be possible to repair the wheel.0

Thanks, will try them.thescouselander wrote: »When you say slightly damaged what do you mean? If its only slight damage it might be possible to repair the wheel.
I understand that two of the wheels are slightly flat at one spot.
This was not so apparent when on the back but had to have two new tyres on Saturday and as the tyres are directional the 'faulty' wheels have ended up on the front.
I am told that as it is a front wheel drive car that is why it is suddenly so apparent.
Can this be fixed for substantially less than new wheels, do you know?
By the way, she has no idea what has damaged the wheel....:rotfl:
Could be the same thing that gave her a split tyre in the first place, methinks!!
Thanks for all the help, much appreciated, I am really out of my depth with this.:o0 -
I needed two alloys and it ended up cheaper to buy a set of five alloys (slightly different) with tyres. I couldn't find mine anywhere and the dealer would want £250-£350 for each alloy.0

Are these Team Dynamic wheels and not genuine Renault. Many wheel suppliers can get them if they are still available but will cost around £90 - £120 each.0

Would i be right in thinking you actually mean renault megane dynamique as opposed to team dynamics?
Is this the wheel: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2004-RENAULT-MEGANE-DYNAMIQUE-ALLOY-17INCH-TYRE_W0QQitemZ250591664934QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item3a586d5b26#ht_500wt_1182War does not decide who is right, It decides who is left.0 -
beware the cheap e-bay alloy wheels and tyres, many come from turkey, they are cheap copies made poorly from cheap metals, they fracture and crack and can be near impossible to balance properly, the tyres are also made from cheap materials and are extremely poor quality, in some cases they can double you stopping distance in an emergency and will also last half the time of a proper tyre as the rubber is so soft, better to refurb your old wheels or get some genuine s/h ones from a breakers if money is an issue, could be the difference between life and death in the unfortunate event of an accident0

No, they say on them Team Dynamique, NOT Renault.
