Are you saying I should? The first thing I thought was it's "only" £120, the police aren't going to bat an eyelid over it. I bet I'm not the only one who's been ripped off though.

They won't bat an eyelid, but it gives you a crime reference number which you can then take to the bank to show your serious.

why have you not contacted the police as yet?

Because the police do nothing with cases of blatant fraud? They REFUSE to get involved.

This case is going to be viewed by them as marginal at best.

The bank will not refund the money as the OP provided there card number on the understanding they was paying for good or services.

Now that it turns out the company is not legitement the OP needs to report it to the police and trading standards.

If the bank was to refund the funds it would be as a GOGW.

What was the name of this company?

The only thing I would recommend is asking for a replacement card so you can take advantage of the visa chargeback scheme for future reference.
