How do i cancel Tesco Credit Card

I am due to clear my balance on Tesco Credit Card (yay!) and want to completely cancel the card. I paid the card off previously and thought i had fully closed the card, only to find out i could still use it and managed to get myself back in debt on it, this time i want to be fully cancelled with no chance at all of being able to re-use the card.

I have checked on the website but cannot see anything about cancelling the card (suprise, suprise). Does anyone know where i write to or who i can contact?

I would prefer to write to them so that i have evidence of the cancellation request, should i need it.

Ring them and ask them to put in writing to you that the card is cancelled!

If you cut it in two then you can't use it.

But when the card that has been cut in 2 reaches it's expiry date, they will send out a new card and also when it's been cut in two and not fully cancelled there is always the option of ringing and requesting a new card, i do not want that option.
