Please feel free to move this as being a newbie, I am not sure if is the right place.
I have been making cards for a few years now and think I have got good enough to have a go at selling some of them. Where should I try? eBay doesn't seem any good as they don't sell (I searched finished listings and the majority of cards did not sell).
Happy Crafting!

You could try craft fairs, but you'll have to get in early as there are a lot of card makers at fairs. Quite often we see no more jewellry and no more cards.
Coffee mornings, charity do's and school fetes etc all could be good places.I get paid to smell great :j0 -
You could try asking if local cafes, hairdressers etc will have some on display for you. How about yours/partner's/friends workplace as well? Local school if you have children there?0

I use bigcartel.com
its free if you still to 5 products at a time and they take no commission, go on their website to read more.

thanks everyone! Not sure if I have the courage yet to ask in shops! Gloversgirl - do you manage to sell on folksy?
Cards - I checked out bigcartel but don't understand how people find your products? And also it's american so I am confused!Hmmm will add up debt and stick on on later!0 -
Also if you know of anyone who is having a celebration soon, send them one of your cards and see if word of mouth helps0

I'd try the workplace idea - partners, family, friends could all take some in for you. A lady where I work makes cards and sells them at work - she makes about £20/month.0

School Fairs....write to all the local ones or email and ask them to remember you when its Xmas/Summer fair and if you offer a % to the school or charity...it helps. I did a Beauty Eve last week at High School and made £23.00...not millions but enough to make it worth your while!!0
