ive looked at some on ebay ans theyre going at a start price of 99p.

do you think if i do a BIN of £5.00 with collection only that it will go? as postage would be quite high i think judging by the weight of it. aprrox £5.00p&p

can you not put an advert of some sort at the baby clinic, where the babies get weighed? Im sure there will be lots of babies with that formular. I would think this would be a better option than ebay.

I wouldn't buy baby formula from eBay. You never know how it's been stored e.t.c

also, it wont take some "bad person" (i have other words but cant use them) to put some needle through the foil and contamamate it..... know that would be a 1/1000000000000 chance but it still could happen.... so many dodgy people out there, personally, baby clinic or even ask at your GP's office :)

I have seen baby milk for sale at a car boot (and yes I did buy it after I checked it was in date, sealed and not punctured in any way). The man gave me a story that it did not suit his son and I believed him! Wasnt so sure the following week when he had even more to sell but I did buy it again as it was approx half price. Not sure where his source for it was - milk tokens I presume!

Personally I would ask at the local baby clinic or health visitor - dont think I would buy from ebay as you wouldnt really be able to examine it.

    Good luck.

Failing that write to the manufacturer they may offer you a refund.

Babymilk can be sourced from Mums getting it cheap at the clinic because they are on certain benefits and then breastfeeding!! I know someone that did it
I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes ;)
  • I bought 33 tins of farleys baby milk from ebay when our baby was about 3 months old and it lasted until she was 1 and was weaned onto cows milk. We had no problems at all except that I had to pick it up from the parcel force depot as the driver said it was to heavy to deliver (funny how they managed to pick it up though).

I wouldn't be so worried, the vast majority of people on ebay are decent sorts. I check the use by dates with the seller before going ahead and purchasing and quizzed then why they had so many. They had simply received milk tokens and used them to buy formula milk but never used them.

Was a bargain for us as it worked out (including postage) at £2.50 per tin!! Better than the £6 ish in the supermarkets.
