Car insurance with points

Can anyone recommend a car insurance company that doesn't ask for your number of points.

I have max protected no claims but 6 points just about to rise to 9, renewal due soon my current companys asks and then increases premium for extra points, although a colleauge of mine says that his company doesn't ask and therefore he doesn't pay extra.

Alternatively do you always tell the truth about number of points you have.

Any advice would be great.

when i got points on my licence i told the insurance company at renewal stage and tbh it didnt make that big a difference to my premium only a few ££ per month
same thing happened when i got more points
may be worth just getting a new quote from your current provider and being honest as its the type of thing they may stick on if you hvae to make a claim and havent told them
