New and need advice pls OD/ Protection

Having recently overhauling my finances, having to save every little I can for a car(old one had to be scrapped) I noticed that my bank was takeing £4.00 per month outta my account for OD/ Overdraft protection. As I did not ever remember being told asked or advised about this I then went and looked to see if I could find out how long this had been going on and discovered this was over the last 5yrs. As I am on sick benefits due to severe Asthma and COPD, and have been since 2004, there is know way I would of agreed to having this due to the fact 1. previouse medical conditions and 2. Employment status.

So I rekon I have a case. But I am not exactly sure which way I should go about this.

    Hi and welcome.

I am not too sure on OD protection but think there are some threads here somewhere where others have posted about this.

I am not sure if this would be the same as PPI, depending on what it would cover, saying that if you do not require this I assume you can still cancel and request that they refund you with what you have paid up to date.

Meanwhile check this out here for more information:

and hopefully someone will know more on this one and post up with some advice soon for you, but otherwise I can't see why you should not try to reclaim on something that you do not require and they have automatically added, this is my personal opinion of course.;)

Fingers crossed and please keep us posted, cheers.:)
