So scottish power, you have ditched paying by quarterly payments now?

As you have messed up my account, you have set my monthly direct debit for £207 and now you want me to pay £250 on a monthly payment plan to catch up on a debt I didn't run up, that your computer thinks I did. Cheers!

Well I aint going to! I will provide my meter readings and pay what I owe and not what you think I owe. This way I am in control of my money and not you!

I just want to pay my bill when I want, the old fashioned way, like it used to be.

Sorry everyone, rant over!

    Calm down dear :D

Scottish Power allow for quarterly payments on certain tariffs (e.g. their standard tariff) ... and actually allow a very good discount for prompt payment (£50 for electric, £100 for gas) which you can guarantee if you pay quarterly by DD.

Ada, I am with Scotich Power and read my meters weekly and then submit the results on line. You could read the meters when you want and keep an eye on the bill too.
