i have a brother dcp-340cw printer and it takes ages to print it supposed to do 15ppm colour and 20ppm blk &wht i'm printing something now which has took approx 5 mins up to now and still printing, oh hang on! its just finished now:mad:
are there certain settings it should be on

You may have your printer settings set to "Fine Print" or "Best" or something whereby it would take years to print due to perfect printing.. there should also be medium and fast settings where quality will still be alright, but would print a lot faster.
Check the printing options in the program you use when printing.
If nothing can be found, then tis the printer! And if the manufacturer specs say less than the actual ppm than there is a legal query there due to illegal advertising.[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."
