there was mention on tv of going green and the government would help with the loan. Forgot the name but can anyone else with any info on this? Was on bbc breakfast last week. Thanks in advance

Have I noticed double glazing companies selling solar panels?

If the government really wants to help, why don't they actually install solar panels in houses, properly, and charge through the electricity standing charge. They know retro-fitting houses are a waste of money compared to building from scratch. Nobody has the guts to say tear them all down and build swedish houses. So let people borrow money and hire cowboy installers, because they wouldn't let us tear their houses down, so we can build proper ones.
