How much should I expect to pay to install gas central heating?

Hi everyone,

I am thinking about buying a house that does not have gas central heating. It is a three bedroomed semi-detached. I have found out that to connect it to gas, the cost would be £540 but I have no idea how much it might cost to install the heating?

It needs everything - metre, pipes, radiators, boiler, etc. I would probably chose standard radiators.

£3500-£5500 depending on whether you wanted the pipes surface mounted or buried/routed through cavity walls or under floorboards.

Hi there I have just had a complete new central heating system fitted two weeks ago, the price included ripping out the old system, back boiler and all pipework.All new pipework in copper.Broag Avanta 35c Combi Condesing boilerHoneywell Cm927 wireless controls.Replaced 6 radiators and added 3 in new location.Magna clean .This cost me £3250, I could have had it cheaper if installer used plastic pipes and installed a cheaper boiler.Hope this helps.
