Does anyone out there know if there is a way to transfer video films to my DVD recorder. Bought a dvd recorder and want to copy my video films to save space as the cupboards are full. When trying to copy fetting "error no signal" dvd records perfectly on everything else. Heard that there was a scart lead which would clear the signal. any help please. I must emphasise that this is purely for my own use and saving space. Thanks for readig this and a bigger thanks for any help

if it copies a video you have recorded from the tv, but not commercial ones, it is probably due to macrovision..
