My dress is still at my mums not looked at it yet. Need to see if its in need of a clean. Thinking i might sell it on its a shame to let it gather dust and not be the centre of attention again.

3 Weeks today until we go on honeymoon :j:j:D I cant wait!!!!!
Although part of me thinks it wont feel like a honeymoon as we married in April and fly 1st August, it will just feel like a normal holiday - I hope i am wrong......

I really miss this thread. Hope you are all ok????

Not long now till your honeymoon vicky ) am sure it will still feel like a honeymoon...is there anything you can do while you are there or that you booked thats bit more specific to honeymooning couples?

It is strange not coming on here chatting bout all the plans - had a few friends get married recently so been looking at all the photos and slightly regretting some bits that our photographer didnt get of me and hubby...though i know cos was pregnant it was done so wasnt walking around too much etc.

just thought would pop on to say hi while my little miss is sound asleep! cant believe she was a month old on friday! crazy!!

Yes kind of miss the planning buzz and the looking at beautiful things online. Currently selling all my stuff on ebay so keeping busy.

The exciting news is that my wedding was featured on the Whimsical Wonderland Weddings blog last Friday. Lovely to see some nice comments about the day and about the pics.

Hey Louise, We have not booked anything as yet as there is not much to do on the island so prob just guna chill out for the 1st week & half then do a quad bike/4x4 day out and maybe something else if its worth doing but book it while were over there xx

Sounds lovely though! nice just to be away from home/work/cleaning/etc isnt it!! Lots of nice candle lit dinners or walks on the beach then to be in order!! xx

I forogt to say the other day - me and OH are in a competition for essex wedding magazine, there rounds throughout the year and then the finalists from the rounds are put together and the winner features in the magazine and gets a night at a hotel. Its a click and vote thing on this link..

we are the couple at the top and would appreciate any help in chance to get through this round! would love a night stay at a hotel..things been tough since isabelle was born with her being unwell to begin with, and our honeymoon is a long way off still....hubby said if we dont win he will save so we could have a night little miss free at a travel lodge, lol!!

MM2B - Well since you got married in the same area as I live and they are the best around...

The girls even came to our reception! Have some great pics of them barn dancing with hubby. Was also greated at the church by one as she popped by the have a look on her way home from work. Was handy as had managed to bend one of my flowers in my bouquet getting into the car...

I went for a wonder around your church last week for the first time since I moved there. Its lovely.
