oh Hayley! You poor thing. It's amazing what wonderous things seamstresses can do, and how big thier hearts are when it comes to helping out upset brides, just don't be disheartened if it takes a bit of time to find something-DON'T GIVE UP!!
CSH-I LOVE your dress! It is gorgeous! I also love your little toppers-how cute?!
I am doing pretty well, the stress levels only go up when I speak to my parents, who have just decided to make loads of decisions without talking to me or the H2b, and are driving me insane!
Weather is looking pretty pants, ranging from light rain to thunder storms, depending which forecast you look at. :( I don't think it would be so bad if we hadn't had all this lovely weather over the past week or so!

I found out my mum invited two of her random friends to the evening of my wedding... without asking me, and I've never even met them, and she knows that I've had to be really careful with numbers! She said, well it's not to the real wedding, just the band and the evening! I've tried to be calm when she's done this sort of thing... but really, who does that?!

Eurgh, i think my tempers starting to fray the closer we get to Saturday. Doesn't help that I get stroppy right about this time each month, and I can feel the blood starting to boil at every little thing.

Anyone have some PMS emergency chill pill remedies to recommend? I don't want to turn into uber bridezilla

Try Kalms but personally I am on G&T this evening.

I know how irritating it is when parents do things like that. My mum has been twitchy with all her 'parts' sorted and jumped the gun and started arranging things before I had even discussed or asked her too - I have spent 3 hours today making my own signposts because she did them before I could say exactly what I wanted and they were horrible.

Feel awful for being so picky but after sourcing so much stuff so it wouldnt 'look' like a cheap and cheerful wedding (even though it is!) printed sheets of A4 paper with cartoon characters for no apparent reason was just not what I wanted...

I have just decided that i don't have enough decorations to hang from the beams. I want honeycomb bells or circular things hanging down. They don't sell them anywhere in my town :( grrrrr i just don't want to pay for special delivery from an online company then have to hang about. There is only wednesday and thursday left realistically. I have been googling to see if i can find anywhere local to buy from but drawing a blank.

I do have lots of streamers in 4 different colours and i do have wire garlands with petals on i just want something big to hang down abit lol i was so not bothered a week ago grrrr.

    something like

I was going to suggest the pom poms! But I needed my beauty sleep...

Up early. Cant find my pants I have been wearing to dress fittings. Have no idea where they are! Last time I saw them they were hanging up outside drying. I dont want to wear the silk ones I will be wearing on the day and everything else is a thong. oh dear...

If anyone sees a pervert running around west berkshire with a pair of flesh coloured hold-em-ins let me know!

I have already made one pom pom but the cost of tissue paper in the right size and the amount i would need put me off. My pom pom was not perfect either. That was the plan before then it fell out of favour lol.

No have had to buy a new pair! Re: pom poms I was in John lewis this morning trying to track down comfy insoles for my shoes and I saw this...

any good? Failing that I got some mega cheap tissue paper from Primark a while back. They also sold it in the 99p store in reading this morning.

currently cleaning the room my dress will be hanging in, then have to finish painting the direction signs with gloss paint. Its a glamourous life for a bride!
