First of all, Leeds United are a fantastic team (guess who I support) so well done on that.
Secondly I am thinking that Voltage is within the limits of generic power adapters. My advice is take your laptop into Maplin Electronics, and ask them.. they'll check the voltages there and then and make sure 100% the connector fits.. plus if there are any problems, it saves postage costs etc...[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

Sold here but you may be able to pick up a generic universal one cheaper.

Showing my ignorance on all things electrical but will the Maplin one work as I need one that is 7.1A and the Maplin one is 4.74A??
Thanks for all the help btw - much appreciated0 -
May need someone to double back me on this one but I think its the voltage that counts!!! And the A is simply the amount of power..
In other words, it words it won't charge your laptop as quickly as the official one but it would still work![FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

Will go to Maplin on way home and give it a go (but keep the receipt!!).

Yes keep the receipt lol! I used to work in the Leeds store.. was hell when people would return things without the receipt and expect us to give them cash in hand without questions!!!!
Lets be honest now, it could have been bought from the market for a fiver and then ur trying to get rrp of £50 for it haha.[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

I had to get one for my Acer laptop a while ago, found it on this site:

That one from Maplin will almost certainly charge the battery slower than the original, and could cause other problems.0
