Debenhams Large Designer Wall Mirrors - bargain! - EXPIRED

I noticed my last three orders over the past four days i had confirmations but no despatched emails, reading these stories makes me wonder if they will be despatched or not.

I ordered a dress the other day and the verisign screen kept coming up blank each and everytime i tried to put the order through, eventually it skipped that bit and said thank you for your order?! Was a little confused that I did have the item despatched and they were able to take the money although it wasn't verified?

I think they play by their own rules. Part of me hopes I don't get a cancellation email as I have spent alot of money there already this year, but then the other half (of me lol) makes me think do I really need a faux fur throw :rotfl:

Debenhams are a law unto themselves when it comes to confirmation emails, despatch emails, orders in general!

If your order does get cancelled and you really want that faux fur throw (lol!), try your local £stretcher. I found a chocolate faux fur throw in Next last year, would've cost around £80 including two matching cushions, it was a lot of money to spend on a throw and a couple of cushions, so I went away to think about it... the same day I completely-by-accident found a throw and two cushions that look identical but felt ten times softer for £20 in £stretcher (and they are still nice and soft and look brand new a year later!)

Just thought I would mention I had a despatch email last night for my mirror ooooeeer, bit late mind - I wasn't expecting to get this at all.

Anyone who hadn't received their cancellation may still get a despatched email too. Fingers crossed for you all.

Has anyone received the mirror? Got mine today and it's the wrong one!! I order the Julien MacDonald one priced at £38.75 (which they charged me) and received the Roccocco one instead!!

Phoned them up and all the do is appologise and offer a refund once it's been delivered. Thing is, I dont mind the one I've received as its big and cheap for the quality, but they wont give me back the difference I paid without returning and placing another order... which I cant do as it's out of stock.

Dont you just love Debenhams!

I have fired off an email as I am very annoyed that I have received the wrong mirror too! I ordered the Roccocco and the Julien Macdonald one turned up. Ok so its a more expensive mirror, but its broken and I'm fed up of Debenhams not sorting their act out :mad:

Looks like we got each others mirrors reading back through it

this is exactly what happened to me!!! they said its been completley removed from the system so cant do a refund untill they find it, so they are apparently going to a master computer to try and find it then they can refund the difference, they have promised to phone back at some point today to let me no whats happening so ill let you no ,,,, but dont give up!!!

Hayhay, the links are on the top of the page, might be worth sending the links to head office if they can't find the item.

I ordered the Roccocco from the second link, plain black frame with mirror, I got the Julien macdonald laquer one from the first link which didn't have the frame, just laquer printed onto glass.

Yeah, they said they will phone back also... not holding out much hope!

I havent unpacked mine completely as I've had it delivered to work so only had a peek. I'll have to check it over completely when I get home to make sure it's not broken... probably is knowing our luck. Thought the price was a bit too good to be true!
