If so ,how much did you manage to get off the asking price ?
Bought a new build myself when the recession was biting 18mths ago & managed to get 20% off ,looking for something a bit bigger now & assuming things are a little different now .
Realistically what could i expect ?
Thanks

Depends on the development - some are selling off apartments that exchanged but failed to complete at a third of the 2007 asking price, others are only 10% off. You need to research land registry sold price for other flats in the area so you have a feel for the market, asking prices are meaningless.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

Completely depends on the development and how long the houses have been sat empty. At the off plan stage the builders don't seem to be giving much of a discount, but if the house has been finished and sat empty for a while there's still a good chance you can get a good discount. Each builder is different, there's no standard on how much money you can get off, just make an offer based on current sold prices of local houses and take it from there.0
