First I will apologise if I am in the wrong place but I really could do with some help /advice if anyone can point me in the right direction,
Just over two years ago myself and my husband where talked into claiming three mis sold mortgages by "Cartel" we filled in the forms handed over copies of the relevant paperwork and a sum of around £1,500.00 or just over, we were promised that it would be sorted out within 9 - 12 months tops....
We were told that their " in house solicitors" were dealing with the claims and would be in touch...well here we are over two years later no better off, can never get through to the solicitors via phone, have sent several emails, had I think, one response saying nothing we already knew ! this is getting very frustrating ! I at the end of last week emailed the person responsible for getting us into this, at cartel ( will remain nameless at the moment ) got very angry at him asking what was happening and threatened to exploit them to "The one Show" or anyone who would listen to try to get a response or some answers, but still no reply We are at our wits end as to what or where to turn next...
The most annoying thing about it all is we referred them to family members who also fell for this and put lots of money into doing the same....are these con men on a get rich scheme, and why won't they reply to us...
can anyone help..

I take it you have seen they are actually under investigation by MOJ. Perhaps someone with some knowledge will be along to post cause of this "in house" solicitors thing. I don't know if the Law Society would be able to help you in this?First I will apologise if I am in the wrong place but I really could do with some help /advice if anyone can point me in the right direction,
