Hi Guys.
I have an appointment at the US Embassy, London next week and as its a Morning appointment I am staying in a hotel on the Sunday night to save me Travelling early, Can Anyone recommend a Hotel in the Marble Arch, Hyde Park corner area's etc that are near to the Embassy, if anyone has stayed in one near and has a good experience, or knows of a Good deal around there I would appreciate it .
Thanks

Stayed at teh Cumberland Hotel at Marble Arch about8-9 years ago and that was very nice. Had a back room , not facing out onto Oxford St/Marble Arch and was fine. There is a Hilton in Park Lane and a Marriott further up in Edgware Road , so if you have Tesco clubcard points, might be worth converting into vouchers for deals . All along Bayswater Road there are smaller hotels ,might be less expensive. Again,Bayswater Road is not too far from Grosvenor Sq, either a 20-30 minute walk or a short bus ride .0

I stopped at the Millenium Mayfair which is in the same square as the US Embassy -just a walk across a small park!
Great hotel-not too badly priced
Brian Turners restaurant (in the hotel) is fantastic -but probably not if you are on a budget.
Just go on the Millenium Hotels website -there are often offers available.

Its a 25 min stroll to the Embassy or a couple of stops on the tube. Got it for £42 for the night. Nothing special but clean and tidy.0 -
I'd recommend doing a search on https://www.venere.com - really helpful website with lots of good maps/reviews, and reasonable prices too (which you also don't have to pay in advance!)

Hope that helps0
