I bought a 'bio-flo' magnetic bracelet a couple years ago for £30 and promised it would help with my back pains....but now in the bin as no help what so ever.:(

Lucky, lucky you. There is no scientific evidence that they work
but for some they do, but in all honesty if you think they are going to help they will. Now think possibly about you being overweight, if you do something positive about that then even the aches will go away.
You can do it, keep telling yourself that (no offence intended) but its amazing what the mind can do to thebody.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

    Wot she said.

I'm on a mission to shift 3 stone, myself. Slow process, but I figure that if I managed to put it on, I can damn well lose it again! :D

Re magnetic and copper jewellery - magnets have never done me one iota of good, but I've known people who have had fantastic benefit. Copper, on the other hand, seems to help me, and I have a copper anklet that I never take off.

I guess it's a question of if it works for you, keep doing it!

You should have sent it back to them - they have a "refund if it doesn't work" policy.

I've got RA in wrists & fingers (plus elsewhere) & rely on my magnetic bracelets.
They're literally a packet of magnetic beads threaded onto stretchy wire & fastened, total cost about £3.50. I've no idea how/why they work as I'm entirely sceptical but as long as they deaden the pain, I don't care!

I also have plasters with a little magnet attached - I bought a set in a bargain shop & replace the plasters as needed. I use these for my knees & ankles. Not elegant, but invisible under thick tights :o
