Exchange/Refund for a Coat

Hi everyone
My boyfriend bought me a coat from Jane Norman early December for Christmas. I first wore it on Christmas day so although on the recepit I've had it longer I've worn it less than that.
Anyway there are a few problems with it. First I've noticed that thread is loose on a number of the buttons and stray threads are coming off the coat everywhere so that it looks old and tatty. I wouldn't mind if it was cheap but it was £90!
I really like the coat and would happily accept an exchange for another but for fears that either all of them are the same and the same problems will happen on a new one and also that they don't have any left in stock as it's a Winter coat and now they've got Spring/Summer stuff in
I'm pretty sure it's gone past their standard exchange/refunds policy but to me this coat does not have the quality the price suggests. As I said it looks tatty and worn.
Does anyone have any ideas how best to go about this? I'm aware of SOGA and the like but know it can be difficult to be successful with this sort of stuff.
I have the receipt.
Thanks
Helen
