How long for court?

Hi there
Hoping someone can advise me please!
My case has finally went to court (im a PWC) 6 years after applying to CSA! 3 years ago it went to the criminal compliance center. In December my case got sent to the procurator fiscal to get a court date for the NRP. I was told that I wouldnt be told any other information untill after the court case has been heard in court and they know the outcome. But they couldnt tell me when that will be.
Generally how long does it take to get a court date from first applying? Or does it vary from court to court?

Thanks

Great news that you have got that far! It varies from court to court and being honest the case can be adjourned several times before it is heard, either the NRP doesnt turn up, or hasnt had the right paperwork etc etc.

I wouldnt count on it being quick if I am being honest, probably looking at two to three months yet - still its a step in the right direction!!

    Good luck ;)

    Thank you!
Yeah I'm so pleased to see it going to court! I got to the point of not caring what happened as my ex tells the case worker lie after lie after lie. Then got a call out the blue to say my case had now been sent to court! I now don't mind the waiting as I know hopefully I will get some of my money owed soon!
Its still annoying to see him drive a van around for work and driving his yet another new car in as meny months! Oh and the holiday he has just posted about on his facebook. All while telling the case worker he doesn't work and has no money or car!! Looking forward to seeing everything coming out in court!!

Get the evidence from facebook, you can copy and paste it into a word document and forward it to the CSA as evidence.

they only act on evidence when it suits them.

i sent them proof of over 156 nights and still they believed her "word" over my proof.

What was your proof? Why wasn't it considered, and did your ex provide proof which negated yours?
