Hiya,
I'd appreciate some advice regarding a car which I have been offered by a colleague. I currently drive an Alfa Romeo 156, however it's crippling me with repair bills so has to go ASAP!
I have very little cash to pay for a car at the moment, but living in a rural area now I rely on it to get me about.
The car's details are as follows - how much do you reckon it may be worth?
Cheers,

1992 September registered Volkswagon Polo
3 door hatchback
Petrol
1.1L
26,000 miles on the clock
One old lady (in her eighties) owner since new - genuinely!
Careful driver - apart from parking too close to a post which has put the driver off from driving!
Full service history
No MOT - but has never failed
No Tax - disc cashed in
Needs new wing mirror on passenger side
Slight dent in passenger wing
Low cost to tax
Low cost to run
Cheers,

That's just it, I've been asked to "make an offer" for it - as the lady hasn't a clue what it is worth!0

A friend has a low mileage 1990 Polo still going strong.
Some welding has been done to the sills though.
Overall, they are tough little cars0 -
My wife's Polo is from 1994.It's a superb little car. No frills - no electric windows etc. but great economy, cheap insurance and tax.
Go for it !!0
