my direct debit is normally taken from my bank account on the 14th of the month.

Can I get it changed to the 1st of the month?

No problem at all, if you want me to do it now, just use the email address on the left.

Just a heads up, it will now be too late for this month, the payment will still be taken on 14th unless you cancel it at the bank.

But I can arrange it to start for next month.
