House clearance - South London/Surrey

I'm just about to sell my house (fingers crossed) but the buyers didn't want to take the dishwasher, cooker, &c. off me.
Now, there's a few things still in the house which just need getting rid of but there's also the things that have a resale value and are actually quite expensive. Can anyone recommend a service that operates in South London/Surrey that can dump stuff plus sell the other stuff on for me?

Try freecycle, if you advertise everything on there you will find it's all collected within a few days.
As for the more valuable things, why not advertise in the local free ads?Membre Of Teh Misspleing Culb0 -
I'm in the same boat as you (and in surrey too
)
We're due to exchange soon so when it happens, all my larger items will be sold on ebay (for local pick up only). I've got furniture/double bed, multi-gym etc.....
Best way to do it :T
PS: Just to add, wait till you've exchanged or else if you're buyer pulls out, you'll have large items of furniture missing in your home then you wont be able to "dress" your house as well for future viewings0 -
Thanks, JennyW. Good tip about waiting until exchange. I got caught out when an earlier sale fell through and I'd already donated a king-size bed to someone!
I was hoping for an all-in-one service but I guess eBay will probably be the best way to get the most money for the goods.
Starlite - thanks for the Freecycle suggestion. I am aware of them but since I'm not in the house at the moment, it'd be a hassle for me to try and arrange pick-ups. (Obviously I'm happy with the hassle when someone's actually paying me for the privilege!)0
