remote dog trainer

All

I'm looking for a suitable remote dog trainer (one of those thingys that sends a static shock to the dog). I think most people have used PETSAFE, but I'm wondering if anyone has used the following brands:

The general consensus among the experts on this board (including at least one vet and at least one dog trainer) is that aversive methods of training are a bad idea. There is loads of advice on positive reinforcement and dealing with stubborn cases if you run a search.

may I ask why you want to use one? Aversive training methods and tools can be risky and often impact negatively rather than positively on behaviour, leading to confused, frightened and neurotic animals...

If you can tell is what your particular training difficulty is, I am sure others will have experienced similar and may have some good ideas for you as an alternative to resorting to shock collars!
