If you book online like I did, you get some moeny off, just 10% but still worth it.

If you have any airmiles, you can use these to purchase tickets though take a few days to arrive and you cant prebook so have to do the queue.

Apart from the 10% discount, if you book on line for a time slot (you need to get there about 45 minutes before) it saves some of the queuing (ie the big long queue to buy the tickets). You still have to do the queue to actually get onto the eye though

totally recommend the discovery flight (incl. knowledgeable guide who will talk you through the interesting and historic sites which are visible) which we done last month...brilliant as you get to fast track with no queueing, apart from the short queue to enter the pod while it rotates, so from getting off the train at waterloo to entering the eye pod took just 30 mins. you feel very vip as you walk past all the other people queueing in the sweltering afternoon heat...

we got our tickets from buyagift and used 240392 to get five pound off each ticket which made it £11.45 or so...tip is to book each ticket individually so you can get the 5 pounds off each ticket...hth

    heres the link for http://www.buyagift.co.uk/cgi-bin/buyagift.storefront/EN/Catalog/5000?pop=no&engine=homepage+static&keyword=relaxing

There has been some 2 for 1 if you travel by train - not sure if they are still on though.
