I think my car has auto leporsy! please advise!

Morning all!
The back box and exaughst pipe have rotted throught and fallen off my car! I have no idea how much this will cost to get a new one fitted is it expensive? 1998 R reg Astra (the bigger one) 1.6 LS
I've also noticed that something else is scraping the floor from under the car, but I'm 40 weeks pregnant and know much to large to be able to have a look under the car!
I've attempted to take my little girl to nursery this morning (4 mile round trip) and within a few mins of starting the car the back has filled up with fumes, it absolutley stinks and i cant see out of the back window, The car is running like a complete dog and the steering has become unalligned!
The central locking is bust, some of the electrics are playing up and its just quickly going down the toilet.
My OH's car has blown a cylinder and started to damage the cat-converter so we need to get his fixed too! 04 Astra (bigger one) 1.6 sport <<< If anyone has any idea how much that will cost!
With all the problems with my car I dont no whether its worth putting myself into more debt to try and fix it or to get rid and buy a £200 heap to last untill hopefully by some miracle we come into some money to buy a better car!

A new exhaust won't cost too much, give Kwikfit a call to get an idea of the cost. Please explain what you mean by ' the steering has become unalligned' ??"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Well its like to get the car to go in a straight line i have to hold the steering wheel pointing to the left at maybe a like this \ rather than | if that makes any sense at all, the slanty line is meant to represent the kind of angle i need to hold the wheel in to go straight...Had my amazing little girlie 08/12/2007 - 11 days late! 9lbs 3oz

Could be the tracking is out, again any exhaust fitting establishment will also sort this out.EX POSTIE.0
