Hi can anyone advise, gradually the sound radio on my car stereo has gone worse and worse like a muffly vibration over the noise....can anyone tell me if its just that its got old or if its fixable?
I dont know if its the same with the cds as the cd changer broke over a year ago.
if it makes any difference its the stereo that came with the car, mini cooper, 8 yrs old had since new.
Many thanks if anyone can help

    Checked the aerial connection?

If it was the same with CD's, then it sounds like a speaker has blown (same thing in my old car, very distored muffly sounds)

Could this be a dodgy alternator surpressor?
