Hi,

Thanks for the help so far on renewing my house insurance in the best way - last question now (I hope)

At £20 a year Is the legal cover

a) a total waste of time, what do you expect for 20 quid

b) at that price you would be stupid not to get it, any extra legal advice in times of need is useful.

Personally I think that FLP is better value for money than the motor equiv

For the fee you normally get 24/7 legal advice from solicitors - their advice to date has probably saved me in the region of £1000 so has more than paid for the protection I have paid and will ever pay

You get legal representation in pursuing hundreds of different types of potential claims against other parties (as long as they feel you have a reasonable chance of success) which with the shortly to be increased limits for small claims court cases will make it increasingly important (though possibly more expensive)
