    Hi there

I would certainly try to check this out, if there is no policy on hand then ask that they supply one, so you can check.

But like any insurance, if this was not requested for and just added, where your mum in law's partner may not be eligible to make a claim anyway for many reasons, then if this is the case I would certainly try to reclaim, it all adds up to a lot doesn't it?

And of course many of us used to assume all these insurances were all part of the finance sort of thing.

So check the info below, with the guidelines of reclaiming, and try to get hold of that policy, they should send one on request.

Hopefully though maybe someone on here will know more on this, but in my opinion if this was mis sold for any reason, I would definately go for it, good luck.

Please keep us posted and ask for help anytime too.;)

    Hi CPP explained here

    CPP Card Protection

One in every 5 people1 has been a victim of card fraud. Fraud on lost and stolen cards totalled £25.1m2 between January and June 2009.

By insuring yourself today with CPP Card Protection you are not just covered for fraud, we'll cancel your cards and order new ones for you. Plus you are covered for lost cash, emergency cash advances and so much more. Take a look at just some of the benefits of CPP Card Protection.

So not really PPI and would be cancellable at any time.
