Recently obtained a credit card and I'm wanting to use it responsibily to increase my credit rating, my question is, it better to pay off the amount in full each month or pay the minimum payment and give the credit card company some interest payments? Many thanks.

For me it is always better for us to pay it in full each month. That is what I always do with my card. You just really have to save money. I find this method better.0

Full amount. With minimum payments, it will take longer to pay back.
What's your monthly income? Check to see if you can pay it back.0 -
Take home about £1800, I'm only going to use the card for my fuel, about £120 per month and was planning on setting up the account to pay off the full amount each month. No loans, cards, overdrafts or debts of any kind, but had a tust deed that finished four years ago and still feelig the effects of that. Was credit "sterile" for years so hopefully with this card, my ISA, well run current account and rid of my high maintenance ex-wife :j I will be on the road to credit recovery! Thank you for the responses.0
