I currently have my PC connected to my stereo system and TV through the use of a simple lead RCAs and S Video to Scart, I am able to do this because the computer and TV are in the same room in my flat. I control the computer using a logitech bluetooth remote control with the required software.
Now, I am moving soon and the computer will be on a different floor in the house to the TV, what are my options? as I will be unable to trail the lead through the house!!
- I have heard of "senders", but how will I control the PC?
- Is there a box that will create a wireless network and let me control the PC?
- Is there a way to watch movies/listen MP3s without the PC being on?
Its a tough one.....at least to me!!
Thanks, Richard

- you would have to use long range wireless keyboard/mouse and wireless senders
- you can get wireless sound network systems for definate and i think you can get video ones aswell these give a remote much like a ipod through which you can access all media on the network
- no if it on the hard drive then you can access it without the computer being on
my advice is i would buy a "media" computer or if you have the skills make one get a fairly standard system as for watching films and music doesnt take a state of the art system have that hooked up to the tv(next to it) and use a wireless network to connect to "main" computer,0
