hi guys my dad owns some land and is giving me a plot so i can build my own house on it...
can you tell me what needs to be done to transfer the ownership of this piece of land from my dad to me?

You ought to be consulting solicitors to do this properly.

Fairly straightforward and although a solicitor makes it easier, why not get the forms, fill them in, attach a Plan and send it off....?
Contact the Land registry and they'll talk you through it all. Very helpful people!0
