That happened to me on Sunday and I felt the same. Hope he has a good day (mine was very nonplussed about it)

Greenbee - I admire you for facing the past and taking steps to move forward. I am dreadful for just walking away from situations which I cannot cope with. I don't do emotional confrontation, I just sob.

    Off to finish my dailies.

DS1 coming home for lunch as his brace is making it very tricky to eat.

    This afternoon hotspot elimination time.

That's how I normally react. I'm now worrying that I may have done more damage by walking back into his life and dropping a potential bombshell (I hope it won't be seen that way... I tried hard to phrase it so it was up to him how to interpret it and the ball is now in his court) than I did by walking away originally.

macpep - congrats on the weight loss. I only lost 1.5 kg over the last 3 weeks so really need to kick start things again this week. Lots of broccoli, salad and soup on the menu for the foreseable future!

Ex has promised to think about whether he has any eligible friends!

    Afternoon all

Tuesday and Wednesday lists complete :)

I did all the bedrooms today, like I usually do. Also polished again in the living room and computer desk and vacuumed right through downstairs.

Two loads of washing on the line, including the bedding. It's dry and breezy but not sunny and it feels like it's getting colder to me but that might be because I've stopped working.

Outside I've tidied out the shed and recovered my outdoor dustpan and brush that had fallen to the back. Chucked away a couple of bits. I've teak-oiled my outside benches. Pruned a bush (less to get rid of before the leaves come back!). I'm thinking about cutting the grass but I'm not sure whether we're going to get more frosts. Anyone know if it's safe yet? Swept up outside after pruning and then used the brush to push down the stuff in the green bin.

Cottage pie made earlier for dinner and thats's cooking now and the smell is making me hungry.

Going to catch up a bit, hope everyone's OK.

    Afternoon all.

Flying has commenced, but I probably won't post today's progress til late, as Mr LW has offered to help with the inventory of the food cupboard (in Level 3) and it'd be churlish of me to refuse.:p
LameWolf they were treating me for Lupus originally but know they know different but a lot of the symptoms are similar. Can I ask 'what' you are IYKWIM that you dont celebrate Easter - I wont be offended if you dont want to answer - I am just curious as I have never come across anyone who doesnt celebrate it.
No problem - I'm happy to answer.:) I'm a Pagan. I follow the Wheel of the Year, which means eight (count 'em!:D) excuses for champagne; the Equinoxes and Solstices, plus four fixed festivals, throughout the year; but I don't bother with the Christian festivals.:o

Greenbee (((HUG))) I don't do reunions - ever! Can't cope with the idea of some gremlin from the past coming back to haunt me. I hope things work out for you.

I hope everyone's having a good day's flying; Sandy take it steady, OK?

That's why I don't normally do them. I think this time I might have turned out to be the gremlin :o

Suppose I should do some work...

Thanks LW. I'm trying to slow down. Managed to do the kitchen so far. How are you today? Eight excuses for partying sound's great to me;)

Going to do HHI at 12.45 if anyone wants to join me. Looking at it though it may be optimistic thinking it will take half an hour:D

Thanks, Sandy, I'm (fingers crossed) not too bad today; hope it lasts.:)
Can you just iron for half an hour then stop?
Can you sit down to it? On the rare occasions I iron (Mr LW has to set the board up for me as I can't lift it) I have it set low, and sit on my computer chair.
Just having a spot of lunch right now, then back to Flying.:o
