laminate flooring

Where is the best place to get a good deal?

Comments

  • Ikea has 2.90 per sq metre at the moment, and B&Q also has laminate for a similar price. However, if you can afford it I would advise hardwood flooring which is a bit more expensive, but more durable. Also, according to my builder mate, a lot of jobs they have these days involve ripping up laminate as people would prefer to have carpet / real wood. I'm certainly about to do the same in my house....

these guys have some useful articles about the merits and otherwise of all different flooring options.

i got the country jobbie, durassic oak from floors2go and it looks the nuts down. was £8.99 a square metre. They've got their 70% sale and free underlay offer on now as well so this stuff might be cheaper now.
It's the click together stuff as well so dead easy to fit.
