  • Seeing as it's now Thursday.... £320 to the cc please! Just another £192 to pay and I'll have paid my first credit card! It would have been another £80 but I had to book hotel for friends wedding while I had the money... waiting for about £100 to clear through quidco.

    You should have paid the credit card then used it again to book the hotel :eek:

  • Niddy - Yes I know but I don't have the credit card as it's long been cut up, and the debit card I used was Visa so do have some protection anyway!!!

    Eeeew not for protection, but as you've cut it up it makes sense.... I was meaning that if you now have lets say £100 outstanding on the CC you'll pay interest on that for another month until you clear it. If you had the card, you could have paid the £100 hotel money into the card, cleared it, then spent on the card again to save interest.

    Obviously that plan is scrapped cos you don't have the actual card... lol :rotfl:
