Everything came to a head last night with the parking situation, I came home at about 11.15pm to no spaces, when I text my housemate to see if he was up and could let me into the car park, his response was just 'not at home' then when i tried to ask if he was just getting his girlfriend or was out, he took AN HOUR to reply and say he was then on his way home.:mad: Did he seriously expect me to sit outside waiting for that long???? By that time, I'd got some stuff and gone to my friends to stay the night. Luckily, her housemate is away for 3 weeks so I'm going to stay there until she is back from holiday. I was so angry and upset, it almost reminded me of having to leave the house when I lived with my mum and having to escape for the night. I have been offered a room that i'm going to look at, and i want to move asap now. I was going to try and hold out until the end of the month, as I doubt they will give me any rent back but I can't cope with it any more. I finish work at 3am tomorrow morning and all I can think about is what the hell am I going to do if there isn't any spaces? Ive been awake since 7.30am so I'm going to be absolutely shattered when I start work tonight.:(
Sorry for the long rant. I've got my last counselling session today and I've had just a low week, it was just the final straw. I'm calm again. For now.
I can really empathise with your frustration about other people's lack of consideration. What is it about the car park? Have they denied you a key that you should be entitled to? I used to suffer people parking in front of the garage I rented. A few complaints and parking tickets soon sorted them out. One twit even left his phone numbers on the car as he was trying to sell it. I had some fun with that one. He must have thought that potential car buyers were very unreliable people.
Sounds like you are better off out of there. Do you live near a town or city centre or something? It sounds pretty congested around there.0 -

I think this is going to be the case for me, if I do I'll be rich :jPaulgonnabedebtfree wrote: »Well I went to work today and I'm cream crackered. A lot of my better priced work fell on the same day and I've just broken my own personal best for how much I've earned in a day. Best day ever. I need it too !!.
Someone once suggested that I get a "proper" job. Told them I couldn't afford it. They thought I was joking.

Angelicmary, Silaqui & Pigginskint - another overweight PaD member here. I have, however, joined a weight loss thread over on the mortgage free wannabe boards. There used to be a group of Padders who also posted weight loss a while ago... Think it was when fagashlil and Danko were still posting.
And another here... sadly seriously overweight"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
