I'm more into the scenery and places of interest than going pub hopping. I've only ever passed through the county before on my way to Devon/Cornwall. So it will be nice to take a shorter journey and see what Somerset has to offer.

Well there's plenty to do here, hope you have a great trip. Whereabouts are you staying?

    A bit like Scotland then?!

Yes, but different too :D I love Scotland - my folks live on Orkney so I spend a lot of time in Scotland (my avatar is the Ring of Brodgar). If I win the lottery I'd like to have a house in Somerset and another one in the Highlands.

Yes I think your right!!!! :rotfl: I forgot how naughty George was when he was a pup - like he was a great decorator - he peeled all the wallpaper off the kitchen, behind the door once!! Massive piles of white everywhere lol and him sat in the middle looking all innocent!! :rotfl:

I think there's something in that - I had two cats, one VERY quiet, very rarely miaowed, and the other VERY vocal, would 'chat' away to you, and often would kindly wake us up at 5.30am to be let in by miaowing outside our bedroom window.

The noisy cat sadly got killed by a car last October, and since he died, our other cat has become very noisy, and has now taken to miaowing outside our bedroom window at 5.30am when she's been out all night! We've had her 4 years, and the other cat was only 18 months when he was killed, so it is definitely a new habit for her. I'm sure she's been possessed by him as she is a lot more friendly now than she used to be as well :rotfl:
