Well done MrsInvisible!!!!! That must be a relief to get that one paid... I remember years ago I kept trying to close an account with them and each month there was just more and more interest being added.
I checked my balance this morning and it is 0.... for some reason i don't feel particularly excited about it.... maybe because I'm getting impatient with getting the rest paid off?Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

I know - Niddy puts us to shame really! Mine isn't as bad as it was - at its worst mine was probably about 4 times my salary (I have increased my salary and reduced my debt since then)PigginSkint's debt free diary

Well done Mrsinvisible.
I don't know how they work I got my final statement for HB05 with 22p VX next to it. So far I haven't received another one. Rather unhelpfully when I phoned them before closing the account they said I would receive a final statement saying I would receive a bank charge on it !? This didn't happen but they are an unhelpful lot.
I think this is going to take another letter to request an 'Account paid and closed' letter from them. Just to make sure there are no comebacks.0 -
Just 21p to my pot today please. Pads are going to be pretty small for the rest of the month, hoping to sell a couple of bits on ebay and still awaiting cashback but no idea when that will be!Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16

Hi Sasha, welcome back.
My felines are being extra naughty atm, maybe it's the season? Cat projectile vomiting down your wall, couch, heater and carpet anyone?:rotfl: <== Not funny at the time! Then another one stealing danish pastries - out of the packet. And the youngest is just my furry stalker atm.
Hi all :j thanks for the welcome back Sashy! I do think it's the silly season for the furry friends (fiends?) Mine like to PV on top of the very high fridge, so that it falls down the back & dries before I spot it. Blech, TMI folks!! But they are funny, afterwards of course:rotfl:
