  • Well saved myself a few quid yesterday. My microwave has been a bit inconsistent of late so I managed to get a decent looking freebie from somebody on freecycle. It has a digital display too. I've never had one before with one of those. It's not all one way traffic though. I've had a pair of shoes for a few years that I hardly wore because they feel like half a size or so less than they're meant to be. I'm sure I could have got 2 or 3 pounds for them if I had asked around but freecycle is also about giving as well as taking. They ended up helping some guy out and I felt happier about that than if I had got money for them somewhere.
I wish freecycle had been about when I was getting my home together years ago.
  • I've already padded for the weekend but going to my cc are £5 rewards, and £6 from bank account leftovers. All my min payments will be going out on tuesday so a bigger pad then from me. Total today £11!
