That's interesting. I have the little cup cake ones and have yet to use them, so will keep an eye out to see if they stainpoppy-glos wrote: »mine are not only stained but have the burn oil type residue on them thats difficult to get rid of.
I rub/scrub with washing up liquid and nylon scourer, and occasionally bung it in the washing machine on hot temp with the teatowels and cleaning cloths, that makes the oily stuff softer but still difficult to remove..
i use mine mainly for yorkshires hence the oil staining..
i'll be watching this thread with interest, and probably not buying any more sillicone! (having said that i have the mini cup cake cases and use them to make small pastryless quiches/tarts and they wash up like new..)A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

Hi,
I have some silicone baking sheets that have discoloured through use. They have been through the dishwasher a number of times but still don't come up clean. I wondered if I could put them through the washing machine or if there was another way to clean them.
Thanks in advance.0 -
i have put some in washing it dosed not affect them but they mite not come up any better hope this helps0

I put them in a pillow case, in the washing machine - works much better than the dishwasher for me.0

I just live with the stains quite happily, but maybe that's just me. I know they are clean, and I'm really the only one who sees them!Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...
